It's amazing how you can apply to all kinds of things the same statistical methods that Obama uses to show how well the economy is doing.
For instance, Ruth and I are determined to increase attendance at Makin Memorial United Methodist Church (a.k.a. "the Church in the Lurch"). How are we doing? Well, take a look at the numbers.
Today's attendance was up 25 percent over last week! And what's more--we were responsible for 100 percent of that increase!
Wow! Is that church booming, or what?
Yup, after playing hooky last Sunday, we went to church today, and took Deana with us.
