Random Work Babbling

There are some things about work that just tick me off. Like lawyers who list their number as the Law Office of Somebody or Other. Doctors never list as the Medical Office of Whoever. Nobody does. Except lawyers. Jerks. Another thing that bugs me is stupid Utah streets that are all just numbers. 1546 North 3550 West. What the hell? That's not a street address, that a map coordinate. Somebody give those poor streets names for God's sake. And then there's the kudzu of California listings, Keiser Permanente. I think every city in California has some version of that company. If you ask me, every hospital should have it's own name. St. John's Mercy or something. Even Midtown Medical or whatever. Even if they're all owned by the same parent company, give them a little personality. When you say what hospital someone is in, people should know what hospital you're talking about.

At work we have our own seasons. Right now it's tax season. Before that it was Valentine's season. I think the next season is the Honeybaked Ham season, better know as Easter. The season I hate the most is back to school season. People should know the phone number for the school their kid goes to, right? Or at least know the actual name of the school, or what street it's on, or something. And then there's Halloween season. I'll tell you a secret. Most mazes and hayrides and pumpkin patches don't have telephones. Just drive there, okay?
