Try, Try Again

I'm going to try this again. I wrote this post last night and trust me, it was awesome. Until the electric went out and the whole thing disappeared. I was pissed. I had a really nice entry, too, nothing Sassafras related. So I'm going to try again tonight.

I think we are going to sell the piece of shit car. I have been driving it the last couple of weeks. We figured out the gas mileage and the piece of shit car is saving us almost $6 a week compared to the van I was driving. With no air-conditioner. I think in a couple of months I'm going to really miss that. But still, even without any air-conditioner, and only saving $6, I thought about keeping it. After all, $6 is $6, and if gas goes up every bit would help. But then The Man told me about the insurance. The piece of shit car's insurance cost almost as much as the Cadillac. The van's insurance is a lot cheaper. So driving the piece of shit car is actually costing more money than driving the van. So it's out of here. I just don't really like the van. I would sell both of them, and the old Chevy, and just keep the Cadillac for The Man and buy me another small car that's a little less crappy than the one I have now. At least that's my plan. What will really happen nobody knows. At least nobody's told me.

In other news, my laptop is officially brain dead. The Man is going to take it to the computer man and have it fixed next week. At least he said he would, unless something else goes wrong, which wouldn't surprise me at all. I'm looking forward to getting it fixed. I wish we could afford to get The Girl a laptop for her birthday, which was Friday, but we couldn't. She raked in a pile of loot for her birthday, but no laptop. I'm lucky we can afford to fix my old laptop.
