What Would You Do?

To celebrate the start of Mardi Gras at work the managers said they were going to give all the employees soda & some Mardi Gras beads. So when it was time I went upstairs to the cafeteria. There was a table with a box full of bags of Mardi Gras beads & a bunch of sodas. I grabbed a bag of beads & a soda & went back downstairs to goof off (stick my nose in a book) while everybody else mingled around & slowly wandered back down to their desks.

When some of the other workers walked in they asked me how I got so many beads.

Turns out the managers were handing out a couple of beads to each employee. The box wasn't really help yourself. Who knew? I mean it was sitting there right next to the sodas. It was the first thing I saw when I walked up. If they didn't want anybody grabbing beads by the bag-full they shouldn't have put the box right there where we could just walk up grab a hand-full.
