A Little Christmas Cheer

The house across the street from me has some evil Christmas decoration in the window. It looks like a snowman. It's either roasting in Hell or it's on fire. At least that's what it looks like to me. Maybe there's two decorations that are blurring into one from across the road, or it's shorting out and going to burn their house down while they sleep, or like I said, it's just an evil Christmas decoration.

Plus, the lady in the cubicle next to mine at work has a little tinsel Christmas tree on top of her computer. It's only about a foot tall, but it's right between me and the fancy electric banner sign thingy work was nice enough to put up a while ago. The sign isn't really that important, and really kind of bugs me. Most of the stuff they scroll across it isn't that interesting. Our scores for this, our numbers for that. Blah, blah, blah. Sometimes it's interesting. Overtime, flu shots (Got mine. First ever.), things like that. It's irritating because I can't read every little announcement that scrolls across the screen. I keep getting sidetracked by pesky callers. Always wanting something. Then when I look back up I don't know if I missed the one announcement that I might give a shit about. So I watch more and still get sidetracked by the next call, and the cycle repeats over and over again before I realize that, no, there just aren't any interesting announcements today.

But still, I want to walk over to the other lady's cubical and pick up that tree and snap off the top of it. At least bend it way over.
