A Quick Course In Economics

Well, my toothache is gone. So is my tooth. I went to the dentist today and had to make a choice. Either spend $2000 on a root canal and crown, or $200 to yank the tooth. Even considering insurance would have paid for half of either one, I still didn't want to spend $1000 on one tooth. Our finances haven't been exactly rosy since I had to take off work practically all summer. Plus, the dentist said my tooth was pretty busted and a root canal might not have worked anyway. Apparently I have a plunging cusp. When I chew my teeth slam down on each other funny, and it makes the molars crack. That's why I had to have that other tooth pulled a year or so ago. Coincidentally, it's the exact same tooth that went bad this time as last time. Well, exact except for being on the right instead of the left. Duh. So now my mouth is symmetrical again.
