Out of Hibernation

I officially finished the second draft of Sassafras. Hooray for me! The Man is so happy he had 10 copies printed. I just finished reading over it. I found a bunch of mistakes, but not too bad. After all, it's just the second draft. I would have waited to print it until after I went over it the third time, but The Man was determined to give them out for Christmas presents. He's convinced they're going to be worth a ton years from now when I'm a world-renowned international author. I would like that to happen, but I'm not holding my breath.

So now I'm taking a break from Sassafras to see what the real world is like, but I'm lonely without Sassafras. I already want to start on the sequel, but I think I really should completely finish Sassafras first. After all, even though I know the plot, I don't know the title. So far I've just been calling it Tornado. I think the first story turned out really good, and the idea I have for the sequel it also really good. I'm going to set poor Rick up and make it look like he killed Joan. He's going to look like a real Scott Peterson, but then at the last minute they'll find her at an old farm.
