HOT DIGGITY DAMN DOG!!!!!!!!

I took a break from writing in here over the Thanksgiving holidays. I didn't really have much to write about. I should have written, but just didn't. Anyway, I have great news.

My husband's boss got fired today. Hopefully, that means my husband will be taking his place. We have been waiting for the dead-beat to get fired. My husband said it was just a matter of time before his boss's boss got fed up and fired him, but he didn't expect it until after the first of the year. This is a bad time for a restaurant to loose a manager. This time of year, lots of people eat out while they're shopping, or get take-out, go out for dinner instead of cooking for all the visiting relatives. My husband is a much better manager than his boss was. He has this annoying habit of caring about the place he works more than anybody else. Wherever he works he gives 150%.

Nothing like me. If I find out I can get by with 75%, guess how much you're going to get out of me. I guess if I really loved my job I would give more, but I don't, so I don't. How much can you love putting empty plastic jugs on a conveyor belt? My husband has been promising that when he gets promoted I can quit my job. Of course, he also says he wants me to come to work with him, so I don't know if I will be able to live a life of leisure. This is assuming they give him a raise big enough to make up for my paycheck. Considering how much I get paid from the temporary company, I don't think I need to really worry about that.

Anyway, I have been doing a happy dance all day, since he called from work and said his boss was fired. Happy, happy, joy joy!
